Antioxidants help fight oxidative stress and neutralise free radicals. Our bodies create antioxidants but are insufficient to defense the body against the ever-growing number of environmental toxins we are taking in each day. Without a healthy intake of antioxidants, our cells may be damaged which may eventually lead to degenerative diseases.

Antioxidants can come in many types-vitamins, minerals or plant compounds. Vitamins C, E, selenium, flavonoids, carotenoids and resveratrol are some of the powerful antioxidants.
